The VF39 can get up to about 21-22 psi of boost but that is as far as it will go. This will depend on the pressure drop across your intercooler however.

really it's gonna depend on your tune, but probably in the low 20's on most setups, higher if your running water/meth.

i'd say low 20's, above that and the turbo won't last long..

My VF39 usually runs at about 1.7bar. I have gotten it to hit 2.0bar when ambient temps were around 25F. But for everyday street driving I set the boost to 25psi. This is on straight 93 octane.
Of course this is in the low to mid range. At high rpms it has trouble holding more than 19psi at 45F and about 18psi at 75F. |

Low 20's with a proper tune sounds about right.

300/300 should be attainable on high octane or water/meth.
I'm using a VF39/FMIC on 92 pump and run 19psi through peak, tapering to 17psi at redline. I've pushed it as far as 24->18 on high octane (100+). Quote:

yeah cause i was runnin 21 psi on third and 24 on 4th and 5th and guess what?? i blew the turbo kinda. rite now my turbo wont boost past 10 and when it does it drops below 0 and major power loss. but before that it was runnin like a champ. i hit 260whp and 280 tqe w/o meth or alk inj so to put it on safe grounds go under 21. now im getting a evo3 16g im still waiting for to come. good luck

... I'd like to see someone try that just to see what they'd run. Their engine would probably blow up before making it down the track once.. You never know though..i've seen stock Civic engines take huge shots of Nitrous and still pull a few times before dying.
