Default Will a 99 Impreza RS 2.5 tranny fit in my 04 WRX?

The transmission in my 04 WRX is going and I need a replacement. I can get a good deal on a 99 Impreza RS 2.5 transmission. They both have male axle attachments coming out of the tranny. I just need to know they will hook up alright and that I can use the same drive train? Thanks

5MT? The FD in the rear diff won't match up between the two.

Yes. FD? I would be using the rear diff from the 99 Impreza RS.

Clutch, flywheel, fork, and slave cyl from a 2.5 RS 98-07 or 06-07 WRX will be required. on top of the diff and tranny.

They show rs 06-07 trannies for $325, ask them for clutch and flywheel, and rear diff to match, I am pretty sure you can work out deal for under $750

Was hoping to get back to near stock, so that when I sell there isn't any problems for them.
