Power windows & sunroof stopped working

While rolling down the driver side window today..it stopped 1/2 way down. Pass window and sunroof are DOA as well. I couldn't find a fuse labled 'windows/sunroof' so I checked every fuse under the dash and the under hood fuse box..all check ok. Pulled off the drivers door panel checked the wire connections everyting seems fine. Connected 12v source directly to the power window motor and the window went up. Any clue where the fuse might be for the windows/sunroof?? Or am I way off in looking for a blown fuse?? Any suggestions??

i would say blown fuse, so i dont know. i doubt all the selenoids went out at the same time.....any electrical mods lately?

Nope, last mod was an XM sat radio last summer. I'd agree that it sounds like a fuse...hust haven't been able to locate it

What year subaru do you have? I have a 1997 Subaru Legacy and I bought it wrecked. When I bought it, the power windows didn't work and the sunroof didn't work. I found that it has a relay just under the steering wheel. It is screwed in to the back side panel just under the steering wheel. I think it is not the one closest to the radio, but the next one over. I hope the might help. I went to the junk yard to get the relay out of another Legacy.
