Will fog lights off an 05 STi fit in a 06 2.5i?

Can I swap my fog lights from my 05 STi into my roomates 2.5i? Thanks

Well bumpers alone will tell you no, part numbers probably even more

The lights themselves look to be the same between years. Different part numbers for the kits does not mean anything. Odds are the mounting is different between the two, but the lights are the same. Does Subaru sell just the mounts?

I would say yes. At least, I know for sure they fit into my 07 STi. Removed the stock fogs from my 05 STi before trading it in. The next day, I fit the fog lights, button, and relay. Everything works, just have to get the 06/07 fog light covers now.

The mounting between the two years is different. The 05 required an additional bracket to mount the fog lights (that came with the kit). In the 07, the brackets are not needed.

So the fog lights from the 04-05 work?

That would be great as I am looking for a set for my 06. No modifications needed to fit them in correct? I already have the bezels I just need the relay, switch, and fog lights.

the FOG LIGHTS themselves are the same

it's the other bits which have changed... brackets, bezels, etc
