cool, but this might sound crazy - i prefer the Street course. More twisty = more fun.

Wow, very tempting. Was planning to at least get my first oil change in before going for it. Is there any instruction included? My car will be barely broken in by the 7th or 8th... hmmmm. Hard to control self on track day... lol

yes there will be instructors available, no extra cost.
if u havent broken in your car, i think it's ok, the track is pretty much all high speed 4th and 5th gear, so easy on the car.
cost $130 for 1day and $230 for 2day...all day practice w/lots of track time.
see ya all there.

Irvine Subaru will be there, although I'm not sure we will be running our car. We will be there to support everyone and have a good time. See you out there.

Hey Ryan, by "support" do you mean you'll bring a truck load of parts for us?

Henry, the big track gets fairly fast on the front straight. I went to just see an open track event one time and the experienced drivers were hitting 100+ (IIRC), then taking the high speed turn at about 80-90.

Not to scare anyone off, but a guy in his Infiniti G20 ate it and wiped out the right side of his car (ouch!). Hopefully i can make it to this one. As long as you realize your personal limits and concentrate on being smooth, you won't have any worries.

How much are rooms? Are there any special rates at the Essex hotel for us?

Bad news guys. Due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be able to make it on Saturday. I am trying to still be able to come out on Sunday, but there is a chance that I can't. If I don't make it I will make the next event.
Sorry.
