Default Tire recommendations, please

I need to replace the original/stock tires on my 2005 STi. I do not drive the car in the winter or any inclement weather, so looking for performance tires only.
I searched and did not find much specific to this situtation, so looking for suggestions...
Thanks!

Continental DW. (not the DWS, that's an all season)

Awesome in the wet, very good in the dry, and will last a ton longer than Star Specs. Also cheaper than pretty much anything comparable performance wise.

For now snow, limited rain and nothing below 32 degrees - Toyo R888's a GREAT tire for a good price.

Conti DW's would be good if you drive in below freezing conditions and in the rain.

Maybe the Z1s will be on sale soon when the ZII come out. With that being said, I'd hold off and wait for the ZIIs.

I loved Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance tires. Has them on my E36 ///M3 and my Mazdaspeed3.

Well, I have some that are 245/40/18 mounted on 5zigen fno1rcs (18x8.5 et 48 5x114)

Nitto nt 05 and nt 01 if you are more track oriented. Both are great tires!! I have nt 05 on my STI. Both are extreme performance summer tires.

Yokohama S-Drives, super sticky, not fun in the wet though. Super stiff sidewall, Z rated. They are only 30,000 mile tires but they run rings around the 28k mile dunlops that came on my 12 wrx. Even better than the 225 dollar pilot sports on my mazda 6. I have been through 5 sets and loved every mile, even more pleasant at around 100 bucks a tire from tirerack.com you cant afford not to try em.

NO NO NO
I have these tires too., and I hate them with a passion. Sidewalls are two soft, feel cheap. I am at maybe 295 whp and loose grip with these tires. For spirited driving no way,so two opinions for you to consider.
