Ok so my limited experience is on an 06 wrx. Secondary air pump was going to be $700 for the pump so I just took it out. If you have a windows computer you can just download the accessport software and program it to ignore the sai codes. If you think that the cat might be causing problems you could try removing it and running the car without the exaust system.

Ok so this is my problem now...

So my cat was completely done... atleast the first one in the downpipe... so the shop i took it to knocked it all out... it ran good again but I switched my tune to the Cobb stg2 ACN tune... now it's good most of the time but the it will jolt and backfire and sometimes throw a cylinder misfire in random cylinders... could this just be the tune? I left it on stage 1 and it just was running not as well... I figure that the car must just be running very rich... but I am going to go catless this weekend in hopes of clearing this up...

Ok so I finally fixed the problem and I was very glad to find out that all it was was the Cam position sensor on the passenger side...

Good to hear you got it worked out man.

You really need to do some logging and monitor your knock numbers to ensure the car is agreeing with these OTS tunes
