Question Canyon Run Suggestions?

Grew up going to the same two canyons, GMR and the Ortega Hwy run, and wanna carve some new roads. Anybody have some good runs/canyon suggestions? If anyone is up to mob it one night let me know! Usually go with just a friend or two but they're both currently in the process of getting their own scoobies so till then I'm basically on my own

I'm up for GMR when I get back in town as long as you're up for going during the off peak hours when the wannabe F&F crowd isn't out there endangering lives crossing double yellow lines. I should be installing my Stoptech BBK soon which will make the car more enjoyable.

I'm down as well. I usually go early in the morning to avoid cyclists and other cars.

I am also interested in joining in on a little run. Less populated times are better for me as well

Let's get this going then! Rico let us know when you're back in town and have everything installed. We can get more details sorted out between us and get a date/time.

If you do weekdays, let me know. I usually avoid the crest on weekends.

Its a private road, but if you can get into the gate, its the best road I've ever driven. I used to live up there a few years ago, and this road basically taught me how to drive spiritedly. not many cars, and the view from the top is incredible.

Its very narrow, so you have to be careful with oncoming traffic. I liked driving at night best because you can see oncoming headlights higher up the mountain.

that's what I was seeing earlier, but apparently it's closed off trailers/semi-trailers only

i've just been sticking to the malibu stuff. encinal/mullholland. topanga is too densely populated. stunt road and decker are fun. latigo canyon is extremely bendy, but i tend to make myself sick driving it. better left to the cyclists and motorcycles.

i'm always down to hit canyons.

Since the sink hole, Ive been taking the long route Big Pines and Mt Emma, like usual when the east end closes..... Better route anyways.... Only applies to the guys going ACH from the east end.

here is one of my favorite roads which isnít too far from ach. Thereís also a couple others that are pretty extreme like little tujunga is/was. Itís called spunky canyon rd and it connects bouquet canyon to San francisquito canyon and midway has one of the nicest views of a lake. Just throwing that out there for ya!

For those who subbed to this thread...see my Buttonwillow track day post in case any of you are interested. If not, I'll have more time to have a life again after December 15th and will be down for weekend cruises over the winter break (through January 21st).
