Default What turbo do I have??

So I've searched and searched, and cannot find any good specs to tell me what it is I have on my new-to-me 2008 STi. No aftermarket branding on the turbo anywhere; just the Mitsu logo. I just bought this car used so trying to go through and fix all the ghetto vacuum hoses and what not and realized I have an aftermarket turbo! Turbo has no shaft play so seems to be in good shape, so I don't want to take it apart to measure stuff. Hoping to figure it out externally.

I have it off now and can measure more stuff if I need to. I've so far figured out the compressor is a TD06 based on the casting numbers, but not sure how to tell what the wheel is. Also not sure what the numbers on there really tell me, other than a TD06 housing?

I have a hunch the turbine housing is a TD05, but again not sure how to tell the cm2 size or the wheel. The casting numbers on the turbine have all worn off, so there's nothing to help me there.

Sorry the forum isn't letting me post photo, nor will the IMG links work for me

Thatís a TD05 turbine. Post a measurement of the compressor inlet diameter and I can tell you what compressor wheel is on it.

Got yourself an 18g. Looks like it could be an old school Blouch, but who knows. As long as you have the Mitsu emblem itíll be a good turbo.

Cool thanks. So noob question...is the turbine side pretty basic being a TD05? Meaning, is it a set cross-sectional area and the wheel is standard or are there different size wheels for the turbine as well? Looks like TD05H is a standard turbine for these?

Looks like by reading around, this could be a Blouch TD05H-18G or a similar brand in that configuration...that sound about right?

Also it seems a lot of the aftermarket turbos (including the newer Blouch) say they have ported turbine housings. Not sure how to tell if mine is ported or not. Doesn't look like it to me.
