Alright so Ive been thinking about what I should do for tuning. I want to see what you guys think..

Ok so I dont ever plan on doin much more, if anymore than a Stage 2, So that bein said would it be better for me to just get a Cobb AP and use there pre made maps since I will just be stage 2 or get an actual Pro tune from Yimi?

I know if I go with yimi I will get a little bit more power than with the AP and it might even be a little safer for my car since its a specific tune for my car, Not like the AP. Reason I like the AP better is because If I ever need to make a small adjustment or something like that then I wont have to drive an Hr and half away to do so, And when I install my DP I will have to have it towed to yimi because I dont want to drive it and get boost spike, If I have the AP I can just install the DP and upload the Stg 2 map and bam ready to go..

What do you guys think??

that's what I did, you can also use your ap to store the tune that yimi does for you. For my next mod imma buy injectors FP and turbo and have yimi tune me 2 maps. 1 for e85 other for ca 91. If I can't find e85 you can swap the map to 91 and vice versa. I'm running an etune from perrjn right now on my ap

Yea that would be nice to have Yimis tune stored on there, But would suck paying for 2 tunes lol.. I wonder how much more power yimi can get over the AP? If its worth it or not.. What turbo you going to get?

Dreks, have you contacted yimisport to see if they will send you a limp mode map so you can drive the car to them without worrying?

I have a tatrix cable if you are going open sourceand need to flash the map to the car.

IMO, unless you plan on switching maps often I would just go open source protune.

Nearest local open source tuner is noel from westek, he lives in delano. He does open road tuning no dyno but it's affordable. Closest shop is yimi at Santa clarita.

Welcome to the bako thread!!!!
