People bash stupid decisions. You see just as much praise for quality work here too. It is your car and you can do whatever to it, just don't come crying when your Racelands crap out in a few months. Can't say you weren't warned.

Responsiveness compared to the 87 eco tune is drastic. The car pulls right away and doesn't let up until you let off the pedal. Might try the 91 octane aggressive map soon.
I just switched mine back to the 91 with throttle mapping. It feels soooo good
Did they make a separate tune for panel filters? I'm running an AEM drop in filter and I don't think I have that tune (unless its the "avo/k&n intake" one)

You referring to the accessport? Yeah the AVO intake one is it. I watched a Rallitek video of Sean (I believe is his name) going over the NA AP and he mentioned it is just the panel filter.

Have you noticed any really low idling issues?

if you're strapped on cash, why are you wasting your money on ****ty mods?

There are many Subaru forums, people leaving NASIOC is not a new thing.

I think you should've done a flat black vinyl wrap instead of the rattle can job... But I understand the money issue, that's why I bought Racelands in the first place. Wish I would've saved up more for atleast BC's though.

That could explain why I'm running a little lean with the stock intake tune. I always thought the intake tunes were meant for a full intake, not just a panel filter.

I only get low idling when I reflash and then after the ecu relearns everything, its fine.

I had always thought of it as a full intake also. Try out the panel tune and see what you think.

Good to know about the idling, I was guessing that was the issue but wasn't positive.

I definitely will! Just give it a few days and the car should relearn your driving style and it should be good. Cleaning your throttle body should help it too.

What's the difference between the 2009 2.5i gt and just the 2.5i don't they make a 2.5i gt access port? Will it work on the 2.5i

From what I know, the impreza gt was an auto WRX with a td04 turbo, instead of the vf52 they switched to in 09

Whaat!? That is so cheap. I tried looking on fredbeansparts.com and found nothing. Do you have a model number or link? What else have you purchased from there? Your only 1.75hr south of me.

The AP is only for manual trans. The NA AP is for 05(i think)-08 model years. Not sure why they didn't incorporate newer years. I had thought the ECUs were the same. Kind of stupid they didn't.

I'm not sure if they make a GT AP.

They do work on the 09 2.5i manuals if it got the update from rallitek just before they were discontinued. The reason they didn't make them for the newer cars was because it wasn't cobb who developed the tunes, it was Rallitek and they had bad sales on them when they came out in 08 and discontinued them in 09. So they stopped selling them before the 2010 2.5i came out (which I've heard that the ecu is slightly different). Eventually Rallitek went out of business, and now the tunes are near impossible to find. I was lucky I stumbled across someone who had them on this forum and he was able to send them to me. It took me 6 months to find the AP and another 3 months to get the tunes.

Can't link you because of the site's lay out.

Go to WELUVSUBARUPARTS.com
Then enter Year make and model
1. Select trim
2. Click body hardware
3. Click front bumper - prices should be on right hand side

You can literally buy any part for your car on this site. They are located in Doylestown, PA only an hr drive for me.

I haven't bought anything huge like a bumper from them though. I have however bought many small pieces like bumper brackets, sway bar bushings and D brackets. Oil filters, crush washers, interior trim oh and my roof rack, push tabs. I can't compose a sentence...

Slow, thanks. Ha once I posted my question I figured it out. Wouldn't mind picking up a few smaller pieces like rain guards as well from them if the price is right.

Do the OEM rainguards attach easily or are they a PITA?

The OEM rainguards clip-on and stick on, attaching the clips is annoying.
