Picking up a used 86 is on my short list when my Fiesta ST lease is up next May. I will most likely go SSC if I get one of these.

Need to see if it can "hockey"...I've got a lot of gear being a goalie.

I think you'll be OK. As long as hockey gear takes up less space than a spare set of wheels and tires there shouldn't be an issue. I was amazed at what Moyer stuffed into his BRZ for the Oscoda ProSolo last summer.

He sent me some pics of his player gear bag in the back. I'd definitely have to pull my leg pads out of my ginormous goalie bag to fit my gear in.

I really wish I wasn't stupid and got a 3 year lease on this Fiesta...dammit, I want a new (to me) car.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Meanwhile, McMoto has rolled over 200k on his '05 WRX.

My vehicle needs have changed ( no need to haul around a big goofy Rottweiler anymore) and frankly, I've been pretty good about keeping vehicles lately.

McMoto's gonna be buried in that thing.

And... We're a real national class this year at Nats. I'll be heading out in just over a week to compete in SCC on Thursday/Friday. SSC is in the 1st run group both days. I think we have 63 or 64 drivers in the open class, which is the 2nd largest open class, and THE largest combined with SSC ladies.

Been 11 years since I've been to nationals... should be like riding a bike, right?

Good luck! Curious how it's all running out now that people have been running ssc cars for some months.
An ssc 86 is on my short list of next AutoX cars to replace my Nissan.

Stop by row 10/11 on Tuesday night for Trasharita and introduce yourself to me. I'm easy to find in a floppy green hat by a margarita machine :P

I'll be working the Test and Tune track through Monday. I'll swing by if you're around.

I'll be in an 08 STi this year in SM instead of my GC, but should still be easy to find.

I'll try. I'll just be getting into town sometime Tuesday, and I think there's something else I'm supposed to be doing/at... can't remember.
