You have to wonder, with a SICK build like this, where will this car be in 30 years? Not trashing it, I think it is awesome, just curious as to where all these bad ass imports will end up in 30 years or so.

Yes this build has stock cams, but the Cosworth longblock w/billet crank has recently been put in!

Very valid question. I can only hope that STI's and Evo's will be look at like the muscle cars from the 60's in 30 years time.

Sorta ironic, but I bet a stock STI or Evo wil fetch more coin in 30 years than a modded out one.

They will be junked and parted out long before then. Absolutely no comparo with 60's muscle cars, which like the 60's.... were revolutionary. Watching Barrett-Jackson auction, one guy has a 67 Buick that he bought for his wife and she didn't like it. He parked it in their barn and drove it down the road and back once a month to 2 months. It had never been rained on. How many subie owners can say that. And yes, a modded Suby will not be worth the money you will spend maintaining it for that long. One in pristine condition with all original equipment and low miles might fetch some coin.

P.S. nice car!

They will be worth about as much as a 79 civic is worth right now. I like your ride in this state...not the current one.

I sure didn't buy a suby for a collector car, I bought it to mod the hell out of it and have some fun while I still can. I have had or driven many older cars and can honestly say my STI tops all the ones I have driven!! P.S. Thank you !

OP, it looks like a great build. It'll be interesting to see the comparison.

I am the old bald head man who talked to Jeff and yourself at Food Lion when you had to run in and get flowers that day, had my sons with me that were driving the white STI. I don't drive much, and Hill is got the car doing more work on it for this spring.

Ok that right, dont you also have a red GTO? I remember the FOP tags from some pics I took of your car at the hooters car show.
