Nasioc defaults to a really stupid cut off for threads. Go to User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Age Cut Off. I set mine to a year.

I'll probably rejoin the meet after my car's rebuilt...two more weeks fingers crossed.

I had a chat with Casey on wednesday about forums. I remember being a part of forums in the past (c.2000s) and remembering higher interaction rates then on a myriad of topics.

Now, with Facebook groups so prevalent, we see a communication shift away from forums and towards those social platforms. Sadly enough, the culture of "search for a thread" doesn't in groups. With how the facebook algorithm works, you see what has been refreshed, liked, or recently posted in your news feed and everyone gravitates towards it like fresh meat in a piranha tank. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Perhaps a recent vBulletin update caused this forum to die. I know I had to change some settings in my user CP to see older pages.

But on forum activity, this all makes sense. Look at how old this forum is. Early 2000s. Social media platforms weren't in their prime then. Probably makes sense for why there was higher activity then and why activity now-a-days is diminishing.

Which sucks because I don't want to deal with the ***8226;***8226;***8226;***8226;boys on the Maryland Subaru Club Facebook page as an alternative.

BOYCOTT THIS MEET!!!!! BDUBS SUCKS!!! I AM ON A WARPATH TO CHANGE!!! WHO IS WITH ME?!?!?!?

-Or-

you can continue paying weekly for:
-sub-par service
-high asF beer prices
-happy hour prices that are more like what regular beer prices should be
-food that is more expensive than noodles and company yet comes out in little cardboard boxes instead of an actual plate.
-food that is engineered to ruin the hell outta your work day the following day; be prepared to go to the bathroom every 40 mins.
-cops directly across the street (great location for a car meet!)

So yeah! lets continue another 10 years of doing something that makes no sense at all!!!!!
(NOTE THE SARCASM)
