Default 06 WRX wheel question.

I have an 06 WRX... Is there going to be much of a weight difference in going with different wheels? Because I like the factory wheels.. But I wanted gold ones. So, Get them powder coated or shoot for light weight wheels?

they're supposed to be right around 20lbs. I know someone on this site has actually measured an 06 WRX rim w/o a tire.

FOR REAL??? I was geting dangerously close to buying a new set on another board... Can you confirm? I can get 17-18 lb rims all over! Eeek. Please confirm. I have asked this question on every forum witout a single reply from somebody who actually took the time to see what the OEM rim weighed!

stock rim and tire weigh 20 kilos on my scale, (44 lbs). From bridgestone website, tires are supposed to weigh about 23 lbs. So wheels are around 21lbs. They're stamped in the back with 17x7jj +55 and Enkei Jp.

Great. I am on a pair, ready to buy 18" @ 18 pounds... Nabisco saves the day again. Just canceled an 'order' for the WRX 17's on another board.
