Will people get their panties in a bunch if I run stu sans wing? I know national tours are serious buisness (like teh internets). I may actually go this year but dont want to hear any crapola, ill prob be dfl in stu anyways...

There is a better than zero chance that someone from out of town will say something, and probably at tech or in grid on Saturday morning. You may be able to argue the DFL case though and they'll accept it up until the point you beat them or some friend of theirs. If you read sccaforums.com enough, you see things like this happening from time to time.

I think you'll be OK if you discuss it with your competitors beforehand. Worse that could happen is some clown shoe pays the $50 (or whatever it is nowadays) protest fee to move up from DFL to whatever spot you occupy.

I just don't think double-a-ron is going to be dfl, he'll surely beat whatever noobs show up, in addition to some other less skilled folks in under-prepped cars.
for sure, go though... aaron, b/c like Sully says... if someone wants to pay $50 to move up to your spot, so be it... it'd be especially funny if their car is well prepped and their talent just sucks eggs. |

Hrm...$80 to get my ass handed to me
I may still enter though. Aaron, if you are really worried about the wing, swap a trunk for the weekend with someone local. Preferably pink painted. |

Or, maybe I'm forgetting that he did roll them... ? I'd be a good idea so long as y'all got an STi trunk w/wing to swap ... b/c Dave, you have the skillz to pay the billz and get paid up in this bitch. Someone would -surely- protest you for the missing wing. |

Yep my fenders are rock and rolled. I dont know if I could deal with the wing even for the drive to ggp! Dsmith you are welcome to codrive my car if i decide to go, but I am still on the fence. My car has some finished azenis on wear bars. What are the fees for apdl rent and roll? I need to get some new tires sooner or later but I have been puting it off....

not espescially but I do need a set of wheels and tires. I need to quit driving around on my "race tires" too expensive and they turn to rocks too soon. I am very much enjoying your hand me down ssrs however...
