Default Need 2011 STI wiring diagram for Aquamist install

The forum at http://www.aquamist.co.uk/vbulletin/...splay.php?f=37 only has diagrams up to 2008. Although the 2011 has the same connectors the pinout has changed so a new diagram is needed. Anyone have this handy so I dont have to manually look for service manuals?

edit: Production date 08/11

I don't have the 2012 ecu diagram. As far as I know 08-11 is the same ECU pinout on the sti.

2012 will be the year for the direct injected engine, using the toyota controller. If you happen to have 2012 ECU handy, please send me a copy, I will make a diagram.

It is actually an MY11. I edited the thread midstream.

The wiring is not the same from 08 to 11 though. One way I know for certain is that b135 p19 as listed as "ign-sw #2" is empty on the 2011

I found the wiring diagram in the service manuals and was able to get the system installed. I will email you the documents.

The car in question was a MY12 STI with a turbo back exhaust and it made 355wheel torque and 305 wheel horsepower on 91 octane! Literally everything else is stock including the intercooler and turbo.

Has the wiring diagram been posted anywhere yet?

Nit yet, will do it this weekend. Promise. I have been organising the shipping of the recent Group buy, nearly completed. Sorry for the delay.

Your diagrams have been a great help. Thank you.

Ciper,

Have you begun to wire the power to the control unit? I have an 11' sedan STI and am getting ready to do hardware installation but I am a little hesitant about electrical wiring. Where do you plan on putting the FAV, I was going to use Velcro and place it by the CAI.

Good to see someone else with a 11'+ adding meth. Maybe we can help each other out.

I forgot to upload the HFS-3 version, last post is updated. There are almost identical except for the controller.

I have a question. I may have mirrored the ECU. Can someone tell me please.

I am not sure if the drawings show the true back view of the ECU or the front view of the plugs.

I just checked the layout you provided to me a few weeks ago and it looks like you show it correctly.

So the "MAP SW/SAFE MODE OPTIONAL FAIL SAFE" is not used correct?

The test mode method (pin #34, B136) is only effective if the WMI system is receiving power. I am not comfortable with this output (map switch option) unless it is used on a third party controller such as the element tuning's Hydra system.

Whereas the relay output (alternative failsafe) is a "true" failsafe. If the system losses power, it will trigger a boost drop.

Crap, I did not see the added graphics that show soldering needs to be done to the circuit board. Is this just for the HSF-4 or does the HSF-3 need it as well???? I'm really not feeling comfortable about soldering the circuit board. If this is just for HSF-4 then maybe I'll stick with the HSF-3.

You only need to make the soldering mods if you use a MAP sensor on the HfS-4 . If you purchase from us or Howertion, he can make the mods for you.

The mods are for letting the system know what type of map sensor you have, 2, 3bar etc.

There are no such mods on the HFS-3v2.
