I'm about to head that way in about 3 1/2 weeks. Coming from middle GA. (Red 17 WRX) I'm not a young guy but I'm not ancient either. Looking for a dyno tune when I get there. Or I can have it done in ATL before I get there. I have a pretty good Etune though.

Down to meet up, as long as everyone wants to just hang out and not act up.

Anyone in the area have a Cobb AP? I do plan on buying one soon, but I'm just curious to see if my car already has a tune. When buying this car I also test drove a 2016 wrx with 11k miles on it and the difference with what is now my car and the 2016 is night and day.

Hey, guys. Just picked up a 2000 2.5RS about two weeks ago to work on as a project. I've been at Fort Gordon for almost three years now. You may have seen my bright yellow FRS driving around. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'm back fools. Let's get this weekly thing going again. I don't really frequent the fb page and as far as I can tell, I'm not missing much.

Anyone have any ideas on when/where to meat? For years we've done Thursdays @ 1900 at Starbucks over on Robert C Daniel pkwy. Honestly, if Buona Caffe down on Central Ave would have better hours, we'd have moved it to there a long time ago. I'd rather move it there anyways, but they close at 1900 every day they're open (closed Sundays).

Anyone opposed to meating at 1800 @ Buona Caffe?

Thursdays can still be done or if a better day works for most than we can do that. We made it Thursdays so that we could prepare for the weekend; most of us hung out socially and did installs or convoyed together to random places either to drive or for meats/shows, so Thursdays gave us time to plan. I'm down for whatever.

As always, act appropriately, be respectful, have fun. Bring what you want - doesn't have to be a scooby.

I've got some belt changin' to do tonight at cpt. angry-pants' house which may call for a cruise afterwards...

Anyone interested in meating up tomorrow (Friday)?

Also, I have a few things I'm getting rid of if anyone's interested...especially those with hawkeyes...

Good meat the other night. Went to Buona, good little showing (07 STi, built Evo IX, '17 GT350, and another late STi lol), then went over to South Bound BBQ for some grub.

Might be headed up to the car care center on post on Thursday (tentative) for some exhaust leak fun if anyone else wants to make a day of it. Me and cpt. angrypants are most likely going to start a fire...

Default When is the next Meat Meet?

I had lots of fun at that last meat. Hopefully we can have couple more cars turn out for the next meet. Always down to hang out with a mature crowd.

just gotta apply: www.subaruambassador.com

they ask a couple in-depth questions about your subaru ownership history, interests, motivations for wanting to be an ambassador, etc. it took about 2-3 months for me to hear back and be accepted.

i'll give you the lowdown if you have any questions

Thanks, ScottyB!

For those interested (yes, i'm shamelessly trying to hock my parts...) I've got a FS thread with all my extras. Getting the STi sorted to sell so I'm selling all my extra parts and parts I never got around to installing. Discounts for locals!

A few of us are heading out to Athens on Saturday if anyone else is interested in a cruise. The plan is to meat up around 1200 and drive to Terrapin Brewing in Athens, GA. There's a great BBQ place down the road for dinner afterwards. Any interest let me know.

Meating at noon tomorrow at the shell in grovetown off the I20 exit 190 by the new Kroger. We're cruising out to Terrapin in Athens for a bit, then off to grab grub, then cruise home. Hope to see you guys out there.

got punted on Columbia Rd at the Washington Rd intersection....unibody got bent because i was hit above the bumper beam, and because its an RS, worth nothing so its totalled. sucks...had that car for 10 years, drove the hell out of it and kept it clean. go figure, as soon as its wrecked i start finally seeing other subarus all over town

anyway, picking up a Honda due to not really planning for this and didn't want to get into a car payment with a new DI WRX which is what i really wanted. i'd still like to swing by a meet sometime to hang out though! i'll be back in a subaru again someday.

yanked some parts off as well, so i'll have a FS thread soon. if anyone needs some pretty clean 2005 parts, its now living at the Copart yard in Savannah.
