That's how mine is too...just started last week at 30k miles or so. Annoying as hell. Doesn't happen repeatedly, just here and there, and never when I try to make it.

Usually when I am braking and push the clutch in at the same time is when it happens. Glad to see it's a warranty thing, though I plan to inspect the parts myself to see if it's an easy fix. Such a hassle to give them the car for xx days to replace a clicking pedal

Now mine started doing it today, and quite noticeable while driving, almost like a cracking sound. There's got to be a way to lube this thing up, rather than take it in to the dealer

Just an update guys. I've had about 5000 miles +/- and there has been no issues since they replaced/installed the parts mentioned this past summer.

Thanks for the update. The annoying part (for others) with your situation is your dealership replaced SO many parts that they (nor us) don't know what was the ultimate fix. I'm sure not all those parts needed to be replaced but I guess from their perspective it made more sense to spend more money and do the job once as opposed to part by part and reassembly by reassembly.

Oh well. One of these days I'm going to tackle it .

I just started getting the clicking noise in my 91 legacy SS. It has a brand new OEM master and slave cylinder so I highly doubt it's coming from the master. It's a loud click that only happens just as you start pushing the pedal in about 1/8th of the way in and only going in, not when I release it. It drives me nuts. Only been doing it for a couple weeks now and I could not figure out what the hell was making the noise.

I will get back under there and see if I can find a switch for my cruise control. I have a mechanic stethoscope and it sounded like it's coming from the master but that seems unlikely considering it has 10,000 miles on it.

Noise is now gone for no apparent reason. Odd. I'm assuming it's only a matter of time before it returns.

I had the same problem, or well still have the same problem in my 07 wrx. I had a whole new clutch assembly installed from the subaru dealership because it was so annoying. Guess what the noise came back on my new assembly as well as the same way it did on the old. Let me know what you find out

Mine did the same for several years. I hit an embankment going ~80mph and rolled the car several times. Cleared it right up.

Sound advice. Let me see if that fixes it...

Is this the noise you guys are talking about? If so has a clear solution been found?

Was yours always that loud? Mine starting clicking today and it's no where near as loud. Looking under the dash my initial thought is it's the clutch spring/helper spring. It seems at the point that it clicks the spring is hinged in a way that it shifts on the rod it's mounted on. Just a hunch though. I'll have a proper investigation later. Disclaimer: I'm very new to all this, so I may not have any idea what I'm talking about.

Edit:
I see we are both necro posting.... Sorry mods

Mine clicks when I depress the brake and clutch pedal (did not look at the vid link) but I thought it was normal because the system shares the fluid with the brake pedal.

Maybe what I am hearing is different from what you folks are describing.
