Has anyone with an RA taken it to the track? I did my first one yesterday and I was having issues with Rear Diff Temp light coming on about 20min into hard driving. It happened at every session. I was driving hard but I can't imagine I was driving at the limits of this car. I had a '17 STI and did the exact same track with no issues whatsoever. Any help appreciated.

Try better fluid in the rear diff.

Interesting, so the 2019 STI didn't get sodium filled valves, but all the rest of the RA's engine?

yup, they found some spare parts from the 2006/2007 engines, enough for a small number.

Nice! As much as some of us rag on the STI, I've always said that everyone deserves to own an STI at least once in their lives. I think you pretty much got the best one (full recommendation reserved because I don't think the RA comes with Android Auto, which I love... Plus no rear seat cupholders ).

It's cool you still autox too. I hate seeing an STI driven improperly. Live it up, bro!

The lack of android auto or nav does make me sad...

There are rear cuppholders though, just no rear arm rest. The cupholders are mounted to the center console.

Yeah, the armrest cupholders are what I like. I hate that my Impreza Sport doesn't have it. Might swap seats with Limited trim.

Regardless, it's an STI that comes with way more features than my 2005, so it's a win.

I hear the electronic DCCD is nice.

I went to get service at a Subaru dealership yesterday. There were two Type RAs just sitting around in the show room collecting dust and fingerprints.

No idea, they had the window sticker with no markup listed. I didnít bother asking, but perhaps below MSRP given the 2019s are already on the lots.

Those side mirrors are current gen Impreza. Headlights might be too. Taillights are definitely updated.

Looks like I might be holding on to my hatch for a bit. Gonna make it superbadass.
