So, was checking out the Rally Sport Direct website again to drool over the MODE adjustable short shifter I want and am trying to restrain myself from getting right now. Guess I won't have to worry as they no longer have them.

I checked out the MODE website and they said they are no longer being produced for the '08-'11 Impreza/WRX and that COBB will be taking back production of that. Contacted COBB and they said they don't have a time frame as to when that will start, but maybe by end of summer. Contacted Rally Sport Direct and they said they have no stock left on the MODE piece and that they will carry the COBB piece and that COBB advised it would be another month or so.

Guess that is good news that they will be back out at some point. Guess I will just have to keep waiting for now...

How much do they want for those? Can you get a shop to make them locally? I have an STi short throw and I love the feel and location. I'm not sure of the nob I have though. Have yet to see another one like it..

I am tempted to make a personal setup though for myself. But I have equipment at my disposal..

Here is the MODE shifter:

http://www.moderacing.com/shop/index...7&product_id=9

From what I hear it is just like the old COBB adjustable shifter and COBB will be making/distributing them again under their name, instead of MODE.

Here is a good writeup thread on them:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2081967

I really like the adjustability for both height and throw. Can find a combination that fits me best. Plus, I just think it is cool to have things like that to play with when you want...

I was gonna get one of these when I did my tranny/clutch/flywheel from Chris. But he said someone probably stole it when he went to look for it.

Anyone want/need a rear seat w/ passthrough from an 02-03 WRX sedan? It's in excellent condition. No rips/tears.

Signed up for an Autocross in KC on the 24th. With no DMVR Autocrosses this month it is either KC or Hawkeye Downs. Going to see what KC has to offer, it is supposed to be on a professional driving course.

What? Somebody replaced the LSD out with an open, or is the rear diff the wrong ratio and is that what took the center out?

Does anyone know anything about the silver 2008 WRX at Ramsey? A friend of mine is interested in it and I figured I'd throw it out to you guys to see if you had any suggestions.

The car in question: http://www.ramseysubaru.com/certifie...bd25b81352.htm

I don't know why anyone would buy an 08, at least now. 09 and up are better, so yell tour friend to do some research. He'll see why.

Tanner, I guess we now know what a messed up center diff sounds like... I'm actually kinda glad the problem was exactly what you thought it was instead of something even more expensive. Good luck getting the RS back on the road!

Is it just me, because those bolt holes look small on those rotors. 06-07 had different hubs is all I know, and STi are 114.5x5, wrx stayed 100x5.
