Yep! That's how I've been doing most of my stuff. Hey, I made it through the fuel pump. How hard can everything else be, right? ...right?

Thanks for the thought anyway, I'm actually doing the work up in Haymarket at my uncle's place, so that's even further.

Speaking of work, anyone in the NoVA area with bumper modification experience want to do a FMIC install this weekend with me? (I'm a chicken wuss about body modification)

When? I'm right by Haymarket and cut my bumper. Although I'd rather not cut somebody else, I can lend a hand.

With his help, you will end up with an S2000 front bumper

Cutting for FMIC on my bugeye was such a pain.

That's a scary thought. I dunno, probably tomorrow. I'll more than likely give it a go by myself and just be really slow about it.

Just make small cuts. You can always cut more, its much harder to undo cuts.

I gave up when I got to this point. There was no more I could cut.

Axles will be gettng here today. Thus meaning a fun weekend of axles, fixing a possible fuel leak by the intercooler/pass side rail, and maybe doing the "parallel fuel mod."

changed my pcv valve and hose, also pulled my stock turbo to replace with a lower mileage one in better condition. Tightened the flare nuts on my power steering lines, cause of slight pooling. Then tomorrow replacing the rubber turbo oil return line.

Changed the rear differential fluid. That was honestly easier than an oil change.

I went with the Perrin.

It was between that and the TXS, which comes unpainted and without an OEM flange. FMS wasn't much of a consideration because of its quality control issues between silly bracket problems and core coating. Anyway, by the time I'd have gotten the piping coated wrinkle red and the core blacked out on the TXS, I'd have spent as much time and money (nobody to paint it in the area) as just getting the Perrin and calling it a day.
