Default One more thing to the NWIC...

Ok so the topic got closed, and I didn't get to add anymore fuel to the fire BUt I did want to say this and I think it makes a legitiment post

And this is directed to anyone who is complaining...ok sort of.

People always say that this is "Jamie's Club" because she deciedes what to do and we do it. Usually this turns out pretty good sometimes not and people mention it, which is good because then it leads to improvments for next time.

Now we know she doesn't orginze everything. Cascade Loop was done by Ivan, Fort Casey thing is being done by Ron, Wing Dumb is usually done by Aaron ane Dave, I've set up some Karting get togethers...

And this goes out to all the new guys. If YOU want to set something up, go for it! You don't need anyones permission.

Therefor its not her club! Its everyone club! So get off your butts and do stuff

Now I know personally I've complained a lot voiced some suggestions, but that's about. I think when I come back I'm gonna try and be involved a little bit more! Ok thats it thanks for reading

Are you going to wave at other scoobs when you get back, too?

No way! I don't wave anymore, that stopped a LONG time ago. Of course if I already know you then I wave or if I get waved at then I return the wave

Yeah, the thread got locked before I could say anything either...

I am in agreement with the Ethanster.

Jamie used to have to organize quite a bit of the extra-curricular stuff because most of the group were "followers" and not leaders. This could skew your observations of the I-Club at first glance.

Now, we have a lot of enthusiastic people (and Austin) that love to get things going. I am happy to be one of them when I have the time.

I have had my differences with James in the past but that is what being here is all about. Being Different with a common interest. Jamie is one of many enthusiastic people trying to make a difference in our little corner of the world.

Get involved and then you will have a voice much stronger than back biting each other after the fact.

Ethan, man of wisdom...

The problem is not getting the i-club involved, it is getting the USMB to get involved, but after Pat's statement about all us i-clubbers being "bolt-on" queens yesterday he don't like the people here at all anyway.

Jamie has done very well for having to do it all, no fault of her own, of coarse help is always welcome.

quote from USMB, this states it all they don't want to be part of the total group they want to sit and brood with only themselfs.

David:

Ouch...that was a raw post by the USMB member.

I agree that the quote may be more revealing then possibly intended. If true, then there's not a whole lot Jamie, you, or any of us can do to get the USMB from splittering off. In all honesty, there isn't a whole helluva a lot I would want to do to keep them in the fold. I'd rather direct my energy elsewhere.

There is another post that says that "I'd rampage is someone came up to me and considered them selves better the Hatch guys" (last part was some abbrivation about Hatchs ) anways...From what I read over there, they SEEM to consider them selves better then us.

BUT I dont' want this thread to get locked! So lets not argue who's better!

Here's my suggestion. Next don't host the WSEC 5!! Yea quit it!!!

Next year we can host NWIC #1

OK... I know you guys hate being branded by the i-Clubbers... why are you doing the same, branding all of them because ONE person got profane?

The rest of my message I have deleted... I know it will likely get me banned. I still like this place. Even if everyone is a little insane right now.

Yes, I am sure it is not the point of view of the majority of the USMB, but all it takes is one hillbilly redneck incest loving MOFO to throw the whole community off.

I had to post his quote so the iclub community can see some of the other side of the coin.

No, actually, it wasn't NECESSARY. people already have the link to the board, they can read it if they want.

You need to seriously cool off. Look at what you're posting yourself.

Default Actually the link is dead right now...

What Ethan said is exactly right, and not at all inflamatory, unlike the bit if USMB thread as quoted. I don't see any reason for name-calling or finger pointing. Why is everybody so mad all the time???
(I'm not sure who 87-XT is asking to cool off...Us or Them? )

At this point? Everyone. Get me a freaking firehose.

Re: Ethan's remark: I agree with the starting of the individual shows... It seems to make more sense at this point. At least there will be fewer misconceptions and explosions if it's presented that way.

And kudos to Ethan for admitting that it SEEMS to him that they feel superior.

I will say that it also SEEMS to me that the USMB members feel exactly how you guys do, that YOU guys have a superiority complex.

Can't we all just go back to hating Hondas?

Talking I tried...

to avoid this one but.....
Anyway,
I say celebrate the differences, not hate because they're different.
I myself enjoy seeing ALL vintages.
Follow the history, developement and progression of the design and technology.
Most of all, WE'RE ALL SUBARU OWNERS, that's the point right?

Oh, and hate
H.ackman - (cabdriver)
O.beron's - (king of the ferries)
N.appy
D.elapitated
A.-holemobile

I can't wait to hit the Whidbey Island function myself.
Hope to see a lot of people there,
Callaway

Yes I feel better after venting.

And I agree these club things are not about what kind of cars you like or own, it is about people getting together to enjoy common likes. So maybe we are incompatable.

The thread I linked to has been deleted over on the USMB. Good thing I have the complete copy if anyone trys to deny it's existance.
