Default Do We Know What Year The Next Generation is Coming?

I've read articles claiming the next generation will be in 2020. Do we have any confirmation on this? Thanks.

It's not going to be 2020, not for the WRX/STI. That's most likely going to be 2021. But I think it's been quietly confirmed that 2020 is not going to be the release date of the new generation for the performance sedans.

The Outback for sure and I think Legacy are getting their move to the SGP in 2020, though. That's definitely when the 3.6R engine option is going to go away. Perhaps to get a "sport" model like the Forester, or get an XT model with the FA24DIT, perhaps? Speculation varied on that and definitely unconfirmed either way from Subaru itself or SoA.

2020-2022 seems to be the most realistic range for the next generation WRX/STI, which I hypothesize is presumably one of the lowest priority projects within the company (other than those pertaining to the BRZ.)

Clarify. Outback/Legacy move to SGP IN 2019 as 2020MYs. I'm hoping and on the side that we get SGP WRX/STI IN 2020 as 2021MY.
