Default 2000 sf5 ej205 bucking issues. Stock motor

Recently purchased a 2000 jdm forester. With an an ej205 5 speed. 140000km. Serviced it this past weekend. Installed New plugs the recommended ngk Iridium 6. Gapped to .028. Replaced air filter with a el cheapo fram. The old air filter was extremely dirty and had two tears in it. So this fram should work for now. Cleaned maf was concerned due to dirty filter. And since I have changed the plugs it bucks during acceleration. But I I'm very light on the throttle it doesn't buck/jerk. Car had no issues prior to the plug swap. Even installed the old plugs back into the car and problem still persists. No boost leaks. Not sure where to go from here without throwing parts at it. I have a bad feeling about the plug wires. But it being a sf5 it's been a struggle finding parts for the ignition system. Also replace the fuel filter inside the engine bay. Any help would be incredible

Also reset ecu with the good old negative bat terminal removal and brake pedal pump. Didn't seem to help

I had bucking issues due to a loose negative battery terminal. At high rpms the engine would vibrate and the connection would go bad. Probably not your issue but worth double checking.
