Hey folks,
Another newbie here, just thought I would talk about my car a little bit. it's a 2017 premium WRX 6 speed

It's my first Subaru, really like this car, both in stock form and I like the way it's been responding to the modifications so far. Plans including a future track day, when I think the car is ready.

I have been focusing on suspension first, then for fun I have added a couple of engine boltons and a unknown stage of tune from a reputable Cobb supplier. Future mods include brakes, and a better radiator and battery relocation.

Why suspension?
Why brakes?
Why radiator?
Why battery location?

I'd recommend modding the driver first, then figure out what you need.

Default Huh?

Ya know when you take your dog for dog training and they essentially are attempting to train the owner?

Well this old dog aint trainable.

Just kidding, you do all of those things mostly for fun.

However it started with a Cobb tuner, because of rev hang, then I noticed a loud thump when mid corner hitting a bump, then we "discovered" that the compression travel of the on stock front dampers is about .2 inches before the hydraulic bump stop which is not ideal for good wheel movement. In my opinion the WRX is a really good inexpensive economy car with some performance, however there appears to be many things left to the driver to improve.

Have a great day!
