Do you guys think I should upgrade my stock BCS to Prodrive BCS on an 05 STI when I swap to a TD06 20G next month?

Default No ristrictor pill??

I have been reading through all these FAQ lately being a noob and they are GREAT btw!! as i was reading through this one noticed the note on the restrictor pill which I don't seem to have in my boost controll system in my 04 WRX... sooo should I have one? there is a joint in the line between the T and the acctuator but no pill - I don't have a boost gauge yet to tell me whether or not I am getting the right amount of boost - would I be getting less then stock boost with out the pill? I wasn't quite sure after reading it..

Thanks!

Without the pill, everything else stock, your WG will be opening earlier and more than it should. This shouldn't be dangerous, but you'll definitely lose performance and have issues building boost.

im still kind of unsure about restrictor pills, i read everything and saw about drilling them if you need to...im doing a vf series swap from my td04 can i take the pill out of an sti and put it in my wrx for the right pill size or since the turbo isnt that big will the stock wrx pill work?

thank you

Sorry, I should rephrase,
I understand what the MBC can do (enough PSI to blow the whole car up if I wished :-) ).
I am asking more if anyone has done a moderate boost control setup with verified safe numbers (air/fuel, timing...etc) for the 08 on a stock setup.

Thanks

i may have missed it, but i just got a manual boost controller...it only has 2 spots, one to the turbo and one to the ewg..now what happens to the spot on the intake where the stock solonoid has a line running to?
