Now, if you had this info for a Twin Turbo 2.0L, I'd go all 'Single White Female' on you.

Even if I knew the answer, I wouldn't tell you as you OBVIOUSLY do not know what you are doing and to ask this question means you are intent on blowing your motor....something I won't help you do. You TUNE your car, not turn up the boost. If you are just turning up the boost, you WILL blow your motor....promise.

Default question about boost control settings

i recently bought an 05 wrx with a forced performance 18g turbo, cobb access port v1, andrew tech racing trans with straight cut 1-4 gears, turbo xs top mount intercooler, turbo xs stainless turbo back exhaust, 850cc injectors, walboro 250 fuel pump, turbo xs ebc, k&n ram air intake. and the guy that i bought it from had all of the tunning done where he lived and really didnt go into detail about every thing with the accessport or with the boost control, and im fairly new to forced induction, and the h4, i just want to know the best settings for my ebc per rpm and per gear for the street and not the strip

The best settings are determined by a TUNER, not people on the internet or standard advice. You can seriously blow up your car by setting it at random.

Hey i just found out i was missing the restrictor pill in my system because i was only hitting .05 MPA (7psi) adding the restrictor pill from the dealer which only cost me $2.xx. and now my car is hiting .1MPA but hits that and throughout the powerband it will drop to .06-.07-.08 and then shoot back up to .1MPA. Is anybody aware of what might be causing this? bad Boost control Solenoid maybe?

Any answers would be much appriciated Thanks!

And una does it again. I was just thinking earlier this afternoon about wastegates in general and how very little i know about them. The man must be psychic. We know your game Ron, you can stop hiding it now

Does anyone have any experience with the Company23 Anti-Surge EBCS yet? Is there any advantage to using this solenoid vs. any other on your average stage-2 build?

I have one! (sitting in my trunk still....). Just waiting to do a bit more work before install/retune.

For one its a very fast reacting new mac valve, secondly, it appears they have added some circuitry to match the hZ of the stock boost controller. That means no more stupid FAP FAP FAP noise on the gate from boost control solenoids that don't match frequencies.

Hopefully i'll have it tested in the next few weeks.
