Default New to Subaru - Buying advice model vs year

Hi there!

I'm (hopefully) new to the Subaru family. I've previously had an 07 Imprezza, but looking to get a "new" one. I currently have a '11 Ford Edge (FWD), and looking to change to the trusty Subarus. (I feel like current car is important as I'm used to have ~275HP, and the Impreza is significantly less, although lighter and AWD)

I'm looking between an '11 Impreza Hatchback, a '10 Forester 2.5 XT, and a '15 Forester 2.0 XT. All fall around the 130,000 km (~80k miles, sorry Canada up here!). Does anyone have a recommendation between age and mileage?

TLDR: Better to buy a newer or older car with the same kms (~130,000km/~80k miles).

Thanks for any help!!

of the three, i'd chose the '15 forester xt. good power with the improved 2.0 motor.

Agreed, that's what I'd suggest as well. 250bhp with the turbo.

I've got a 15 forester and I really do like it. It's not my go-fast car per say (I
ve got other cars for that), it's actually the family car. But I chose the XT because I wanted something that can get out of it's own way. The XT delivered that. I am totally happy with the CVT, it's great for family driving and or if you drive for work. And I think the turbo is matched perfectly to the 2.0L... it's got a great balance between tq. and hp.
