34 now, 32 when I bought it. Just seems to be about the right mix of fun and practicality for the late 20s and early 30s. But given this post is 10 years old the interesting question is how many of the original year or two of posters still have their cars.

I am 53 and just gave my 04 bone stock STi to my 18 year old son.

Am I crazy?

He will mod with glee.

This has been the best daily driver I have ever owned. Fun every damn day!

Will be mourning for a while.

But you should have seen his face!

I'm in my early 40's and just bought 2003 WRX wagon. My Miata is still my fun car...picked the bugeye up as fun family-friendly vehicle to replace a Honda Pilot.

My WRX was destroyed when I was rear ended by a moron running from the police.

I bought my 2002 WRX in April of 2001 from the second allocation to New England. I was already a grandfather by that time. Owned the car for 8 years until the crash. Was 62 at the time. Best car I ever owned.

Bought my 2016 CVT WRX last year from a 83 year old women. She had bought it at 81, stating that standard Imprezas were too slow for her taste. She had done 4000 miles with the car over 2 years.

damn near 40.
05 STI, '18 WRX.

i leased a Nissan Leaf inbetween my Soobs, as it was cheap and I was electro-curious. After that experiment, I have no plans to switch brands in the future.

Thinking of upgrading to a newer STi. I'll rock the big STi wang till im in a rocker.
