Well, I guess anyone who complained about the last STI being too much like a LGT, here's your proof. The car looks too much like a LGT from the side and rear with just a big spoiler. I am sure some people will really dig it, but I'll stick w/ my hatch.

That spoiler doesn't even match the body lines on the trunk, it looks like a cheap extra. They should've tossed the spoiler, fixed the taillights, and perhaps look into a Lexus IS350 for inspiration. That way it would have been a one hell of a sedan rather than sedan with an unfitting spoiler on it.... The rear bumper is fine, but that trunk line and tails really remind me of a KIA or Scion, not good. Got to keep waiting, there hasn't been a good looking Subie since 05 (a little biased heh).

from the side view it looks as though the wheel base front to rear is waay to small. way too much overhang on the front and rear doesn't help handling and certainly not looks. to me its like a corolla on steroids.i'm not a fan

How about last generation Mustang rear-end, combined with humongoid rear wing? Umm...no thanks.
I like how the rest of the sedan looks but wow, could they have toned down the wing to an acceptable level like the Evo X's? I'm assuming with that wing, the people in the kingdom of rice are at peace this morning. |

Doesn't look too bad IMO, definitely not a pretty car, but not bad looking. I was really expecting a power boost for this one, but I guess they're saving that for the full redesign.
Good job Subaru. |

+1
While I am glad they listen to the customers, I'm just not a huge fan of this look. Feel like it looks too similar to the Legacy and, like others have said, an EvoX. I've always liked the Impreza cuz it looks different than the other cars on the road. Not that I wouldn't own one.. I'd just pick the Blobeye, Hawkeye, and current Hatch first. |

I was hoping for more power, but it appears that the handling department has been shored up. I look forward to driving one.

I'm still undecided. I'll have to see it in person. Personally I don't really like the WRX sedan so I dont think I will like the STI sedan. I'll be heading down Mon to get a look at it.
I'm more interested in any changes to the engine. Is there any official news on engine changes? |

looking at it straight from the back it looks sorta like a GTR with that wing. No one likes changes to cars at first ,remember the outcry when the hatches were unveiled? give it some time to sink in. I hope it has a decent stock tune also..
