Default Early EJ20 questions.

Hey guys I acquired a 97 Subaru Legacy 2.5 gt. Guy I acquired it from tore the vehicle mostly apart on the outside. Motor trans and rear end out. He was going to swap in a EJ20. Left the interior alone. Now my questions is the original ecu for the car is for a 2.5. Now hereís the issue, after doing quite a bit of searching and reading, I canít figure out if the motor is a 20g or 20k. It has the 4 cam 16 valve covers and the inline intake manifold bolt holes. The ecu that was going to be swapped in has the 4 plug. The turbo is the td05h. Coil plug hole has one bolt hole. Iím assuming itís a ďgĒ based off what Iíve read and seen on the motor. But is there a way to actually confirm this on the block itself? But the main problem Iím having is trying to find the ecu connectors.

Should be able to identify exactly what engine it is by using the stamped codes on the block.
