Works on many different years and models of Subaru.
And yes it works on push button start cars too.

Question Seat Belt Chime Disable Not Working on 2019 Impreza!

My 2019 Impreza Sport Hatchback is my 6th new Subaru. I had my beloved 2002 WRX for 14 years. The seat belt chime disable trick (20 unlatches in 30 seconds) worked fine. Then for three years I had a 2016 Forester due to family considerations - the disable trick work fine on the Forester. Now I just bought a new 2019 Sport Impreza (8 inch w/o Nav) and the disable protocol DOES NOT WORK! I have tried it several times. Has anyone else encountered this? Maybe Subaru got hip to the tip? Does anyone know a friendly service Mgr??
Thanks GnossosP. PS. I DO NOT drive without a seat belt. This is just a matter of principle.

I just love the fact that my 99 SUS doesn't have this ding. Only if you leave the key in the ignition does it ever make a noise. Why not try and find a seat buckle and just leave it buckled in?

It worked on my 19 wrx limited with push button start. 1 push for acc, 1 more for on and do a butload of clicks, then push the clutch and hold start button to start car and it doesnít even ding at all now.

i was having a problem when I laid my charging iphone on the seat it would set off the passenger airbag light and chime. I looked up how to disable seatbelt chime and it fixed both issues as well. Sometimes it's the little things
