Default Bought absolutely smashed STI. Me and my son will be you tubing the project.

Hello From a subie NewB from Oklahoma.

I am not new to cars by any means, I've owned over 30 and I'm 35 years old. I absolutely love cars. I've recently started a YouTube channel that my son and I are doing together. He is 11 and shows some interest in video editing so I figured it was something we could do together.

We will be gutting the sti and putting the motor into another STI. We are hoping for 420whp with all the goodies we found out the car had after I picked it up. I'll post some pictures when I have permission. I believe I'm limited on what I can do since I am new here.

Feel free to check out our channel and please subscribe for the Subie build that coming up.

Seeing your Mopars, I have to think you watch Nick's Garage. Cool cars and contrarian to the run of the mill GM and Ford stuff littered all over. A good friend of mine used to have a 440 six pack with nitrous. Not a car with it....he didn't even have his license yet...just the engine on a stand. He eventually did put it in a Demon.

And by the way, you might be limited to post in certain sections, but there's no restriction on pictures or posts in General or Newbies.

There's another thread that clearly explains the benefits of pro tunes.

One happens to be that they prevent rear end damage.
Do some research.

Cool project. It looks like you lucked out. Also nice you got the history on the motor. The rear end is mashed, but the motor sounds remarkably good considering what the car has been through. Good luck with it.

Thanks, yeah we hope all the mounts are in tact. If not well fix them. This build we are hoping for 10's and if not at least to really upset some Corvette owners on the street!

GL with the build! Can't wait to see the final product. Are you going to keep the red or changing the color?

Well since I have to fin a whole other car to drip it in, I think I'm going g to wrap it unless I find a red hatch, then I may keep it just for the sentiment!

Good luck with this build. Great assortment of cars you’ve had. I learned to drive stick on an 85 Toyota pick up blue just like yours. Had it for years. Always looking for a 1st Gen 4Runner. Why the F won’t Toyota build a removable top manual shift 4Runner again?
