Default High Beams = Low Beams

Can anyone see any difference in beam pattern (from 25’) between my high beams and low beams (2005 Baja)?

The left/right bolts do not seem to adjust direction, and only the passenger side height adjustment did anything (raised cutoff about 4-6”).

Maybe the adjuster bolts were already “maxed out”?

Overall pattern (eg, height of cutoff) was same before, and I’ve been using my high beams as low beams with zero comments from oncoming drivers. Now I see why

Low beams have essentially been useless.

And here is the low beam (in case you were wondering) with fogs on...

Do you have the non-turbo lights that have a single dual filament bulb for high and low? I had a legacy of that generation I swapped outback lights to that were a night and day difference, they will fit your Baja too

No - I have the separate high and low beams - the bulbs (PIAA?) I got are very close in brightness - 55W vs. 60w - which probably explains similarity.
