the cool thing is that since these have hit in the last 90 days or so the price has already dropped over $150pr. The ebay sets are $305-$315pr free shipping.

For those who don't like the (3) LED's above, don't hook 'em up.. pretty simple. Same with the halo/angel eye rings...

I am seriously considering them since I need lights badly. I wish someone local had these so I could look @ the reflector/housing design.

Hey.. I wonder if I can transfer the clear plastic cover on the headlights to my OEM wrx ones. I always wanted to delete the parking light and make some eyelids for my car.

These are not bad at all. You can always get these and replace the projectors with nicer hardware

^^^ interesting Idea!... I know there are universal 12v lighting sequencers available & pre-wired retro-fir harnesses for older model Mustangs to do the sequential conversions with LED's

that's an Idea worth stealing!

I'd be interested to see how the 'cover's fit on OEM headlights for those of us with worn out and crack front lens. I've sanded mine down and they look great now but it'll be a matter of time before they turn yellow again. Plus I've got stress cracks here and there where rocks have hit the headlight.

But looking closely I dunno if just the covers will fit....the parking light 'bubble is not there.

I just noticed looking @ the closeup pics on eBay, that there is not really a "socket" or housing around the turn signal bulb area, so a bare, amber bulb would be required & will use the back of the housing as itss "reflector".

Kinda weird. edit: So the black housings have a chrome "boomerang" behind the turn signal bulb

that "promotional shot" doesn't really show anything. head-on shots are worthless for telling how the pattern will be. I'd rather see a grainy shot of the light pattern on a garage door in the driveway than a straight on shot.

straight on shots only show you the "yummy whiteness" of the light which is worthless.

^plus they photochop that ish to make it look more glorified.

I want to see beam pattern of the crappy projector! The other ebay ones are garbage and don't even really have a cutoff.

+1 for the cheapest 04/05 replacement lense found so far

^^ ok... not to be a Dork... but what exactly constitutes a"crappy projector" ? I mean there comes a point on NASIOC where everyone needs to get off the "eBay Hater-Train" & let a product speak for itself...

Pre-judging a product is like saying "since Sara-Jean was a Trailer-Park Ho.. then her sister, brother, & mother must all be Ho's too... But their Daddy is an Up-standing Mayor of our fair city!"

C'mon people, until someone tries them, are they REALLY worthy of being condemned? The Elitist/Snob attitude of NASIOC is really getting old.

I'm not sold either, my money is still in paypal, but I am open...

It was actually late-60s Thunderbirds that had this first, then it was adapted to Shelby Mustangs. New 'stangs are just bringin it back. Some of the kits for older models are actually LED also. (yeah, other car is an old Mustang...)

These lights do look slick, but yeah once I saw the 3 LED thing, it killed it for me. They just don't flow right. At least the housing is an alternative to the Morettes. Doesn't seem like there are many options for the blobeyes.

Does LW allow you to purchase new complete housings with a core charge then let you send your old ones back for a refund? That sure sucks to have no lights in the meantime.

Nope... Lightwerkz is very specific they do NOT offer or "bother" to source cores, as I was told in the email reply I got.

I have no options... both my headlights were trashed in an accident. I contacted pretty much everyone who does "upgrades".. Cores... good luck.. @ $400+pr for non-HID's (even on eBay) Oe's are like GOLD plated turds.

I got lucky today... I got a set off CL.org so I am out of the running on these, for now.

I don't mind the LED-look... I know my good set of OE's is worth $$... I might wait it out.

I do not think these are a bad purchase for the average guy.

i just bought and received a set of these (DashZ) and the HID's, haven't installed them yet, but for the price they weren't bad at all i think, they have a cutoff plate inside, probably not as fancy and precise as some custom built ones, but for the money i think not bad at all
considering OEM headlights are rare and expensive on ebay or anywhere else

can you post some before install pics of the details & then a clear light-pattern shot on say a garage door or a building wall on a level surface from the driver's seat?

Please don't install the HIDs. They are halogen lights, keep them that way.
