Default 4EAT problems

I have a bit tuned 2001 JDM STi SF5 Forester... I have aftermarket ECU ( Syvanen motorsport ) , stock TCU/TCM and stock 4EAT VTD ( TV1A3YB3AB ) with IPT 4000rpm stall turbine.

Transmission works just fine approx one year ( 15k miles ) now transmission began to freaking out. Sometimes it feels like someone presses/release the clutch ( like MT tranny ) while accelerates ( mostly gear 2 ) like a "clutch bomb"! you will also see it on clip when it is done it on second gear 6500-7000rpm.

The strangest thing is when the 4EAT does not shift gear like it should, example with "D" ( normally shift abrox 6800-7000rpm ) but now it revs to limiter 6800rpm and stay there before shift...

I flush change ATF oils and they were like new ones, no burnt smell/crystal-clear!

Here is one clip where you see the behavior.

While cruising/normal street driving tranny work just fine...

HELP!!!

Well... Tranny die today!

Car do not move at all... No bad sound, but nothing happend while shifting the gears. 1,2,3,D,-,R... No movment back or forward. And funny thing is that when I check the oil level in "N", it is way over normall level?( checked last week and level was normal ) Looks like trubine has vomited all oils to trannys case??

Oli pump?? TQ??

When you checked trans fluid level, was the car hot, idling, level ground? You can't check with the engine off.

Did you do the fluid flush/change or a shop?
Did you check the level after the fluid change? Wouldn't be the first time someone only got 1/2 the fluid out, then put a full load back in and overfilled it.

Or, drained one thing and filled another.

Normaly I check the oil level when car is "hot" ( between those two hot marks ) I did the flush change by my self. After the oil change the car was on idle aprox 20min, and I check the level least 5-times. I move shifter position slowly from P to 1 few times and then leave the shifter position N, then I check the oil level, and yes...engine running all the time.

I have changed the oli 2 times per year ( aprox 15k miles/year ) and oil has been cristal clear and no burn smell at all.

Too much power ques?? Best 0-62mile 3.75s

valve body accumulators could be broken. this could make the trans not build enough pressure to shift gears.

Yeah good point, or line pressure solenoid?? Luckily I got spear tranny!

I just order Shift kit from RadioTek ( RT4ATAXLEHD )first I mod the "spear" valvebody RadioTek way and change it firts, If it still are broken then I swap the whole tranny... Lets hope that the IPT torque converter is just OK

yes, pressure solenoid could also be the culprit. apparently theres a way to bypass it and have full pressure all the tine for rock hard shifts but i havent figured out how to do that yet.
