Swapping Impreza 2015-16 Clarion HU into Impreza 2013

My spouse has a 2016 Crosstrek Premium with a Clarion OEM 86201FJ690, CM695UL, PF3678, Rear Sticker MR69 HU. This works far better (larger screen, better Back-up Video quality, better voice recognition, etc.) than my current 86201FJ630, CM631UD, PF-3391, Rear Sticker MR63 in my 2013 Impreza Premium.

In looking at all possible HU replacements, I see:
86201FJ610, CM615UL (Black Bezel), PF3755, Rear Sticker MR61
86201FJ640, CM644UL (Silver Bezel), PF3678, Rear Sticker MR64
86201FJ650, CM654UL (Black Bezel), PF3755, Rear Sticker MR65
86201FJ690, CM695UL (Silver Bezel), PF3678, Rear Sticker MR69

Preferably, I'd like to get one with the black bezel which means either -610 or the -650.

To do the swap would mean:
1. Taking out the current bezel 66065FJ000/010 (which covers the vents, flasher switch, HU and Fan/A-C controls), and replacing it with a 66065FJ020 Upper Bezel.
2. Using the appropriate harness adapters to go from the 2012-14 Instrument Panel Harness connectors to the 2015-2016 style connectors.

Unfortunately, my 2013 lacked a rear back-up Camera (86267FJ000), which was solved several years ago in an older post (SVXdc/ae64.com's adapter cured the connection problem).

My questions are these:
1. Are all 4 of the HUs physically the same size (particularly the bottom flange which projects backward (toward the firewall))?
2. Are the two PF3755 versions electrically an improvement over the PF3678 version (understanding that it is possible to update the software)?
3. If 1. and 2. are true, it suggests that the 86201FJ650, CM654UL (Black Bezel), PF3755, Rear Sticker MR65 is the right one to get.

Any thoughts or comments on things I might have missed?
