What's with the Type-S?

Sorry about delay, my phone broke had to get new one, big run around because chip shortage Bla Bla , then I couldn't use my SIM from broke phone, new one S21Galazy is 5G which is con at this point of time in US, so that's, so had wait to get new 5G SIM sent from Verizon..

So anyway..I sorta made out, I traded Up The Acura. Personally I think the Honda Sport Two liter is better/ smarter purchase over new Type S. It's Heavy, theres no control of Tranny even in manual mode. it doesn't feel [hard to explain] snappy, crisp. It is exactly what it is, 4200 hundred pound ,front wheel drive architecture, transverse Three Liter, with a 10 speed autobox.

I think there's something coming down the road with the type S that's why they designed it the way they did. The back seat is a joke, cramped, there's nothing back there not even a One USB port lol. For me it's no baggy, I never use my back seats. Maybe once every five years someone is in the back, dinner guest etc.

So I traded up for ...Drum a roll a BMW M8 lol I know another weird one. Long Story but I got great Deal out Of Philly and got everything back from types S,Tax some of the fees. So that's that..

I was going to ask if you got to test drive the Type S before you bought it but screw that car. Congrats on the M8 as it's probably the best looking BMW you can buy today and I don't think I need to tell you abut the performance. The S63 is a monster of an engine and a hell of a way to go out in the last years of ICE. What color?

Sonic Blue Metallic black interior. I love it.. I've been real easy on it. Break it in mellow. First 500. I'm happy.

It's an improvement over the base C8 IMO. The side intake is a little odd, not sure what I think completely about that, but it's not terrible either. Would have preferred they just make it like the C8.R.

maybe it is just me.. but it seems like the C8 came to much fan fare and then all of a sudden nobody cared.

Sort of like the NSX just fizzled. Now I think the base C8 is the performance bargain of a lifetime, but it is just sort of, 'there'.

All the EV news just stole the Limelight. Even the new GT3 didn't get nearly as much press as it's has the past.

Covid really kicked the **** out of the world. They're selling every C8 they can make and it's not easy to find an allocation, so it's not like it's a failure.

There's plenty of excitement over the C8 still, but the base never really did much for me. I'm excited about the Z06 though, mainly because I think it's going to have a very unique and awesome engine, which may be the last of it's kind.

I know someone that made 5 figures for their allocation. Hype train is there and miles long.

Every lane is victory lane.

Le Mans. Sebring. Daytona. Detroit. All conquered by the C8.R race car in its pursuit of racing glory. And now, that same technology comes to the streets with the all-new Corvette Z06. Purpose-built to dominate the track, its flat-plane V8 is capable of 670 horsepower making it the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in production and will take you from 0 to 60***8224; in 2.6 seconds.

PERFORMANCE
Sounds like a win.
Its 670 horsepower makes it the most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 in production. A testament to unrelenting craftsmanship, this hand-built engine features an all-new flat plane architecture that gives it a signature growl. Strike fear in your competition as it hits a redline of 8600 rpm - 2000 rpm higher than Stingray.

670 Horsepower
0-60***8224; 2.6 SECONDS
1.22 G Lateral G-Force***8224;

Superb stopping power.
A car this capable requires some serious braking ability, and its standard 6-piston front/4-piston rear brakes are designed to give you just that. Available carbon ceramic brakes provide state-of-the-art braking performance for track demands.

Track born meets the streets.
Create your own legend with the legendary Z07 Performance Package, available on Z06. It provides added aero prowess along with standard carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin® Pilot Sport® Cup 2 tires. Available carbon-fiber wheels provide an unsprung weight savings of 41 lbs., because every gram counts on the path to racing perfection.

DESIGN
Sculpted to soar.
The striking exterior of Z06 features wider fenders, quarter panels and fascias than Stingray, resulting in a form as commanding as it is functional. The standard ground effects and spoiler optimize aerodynamic drag and powertrain cooling efficiency. Replaceable spoiler wickerbills, rear brake cooling ducts, removeable front fascia panel and front underwing stall gurneys increase downforce, keeping the Z06 poised and planted as you round the track.

WIDER WHEELS AND TIRES FOR OPTIMUM GRIP AND CONTROL
OPTIONAL CARBON-FIBER WING
AVAILABLE FRONT DIVE PLANES

A quick trip from track to top down.
After the win comes the wind. The retractable hardtop roof flows seamlessly into the body design, so performance stays high when the top comes down.
Send your imagination racing.

I would say yes. Well for Big Three in US and Japan. I don't even think AMG has anything new in the pipe line. What out and coming in next year is pretty much it, as we turn a green leaf. It's allll about Tesla and 3 million dollar EVs..

So how much is it? New Zo6

Maybe the Porsche gt2 rs might push ICE a little further? We’re clearly getting to the top of the mountain.
