Lightbulb Now you can "hit" both ends at once!

Now you can have the best of both worlds.

About 1 in 5000 women are born with Rokitansky syndrome. The disorder involves several abnormalities, but for most women, the most troublesome is the lack of a V****** and uterus.

A variety of treatments have been devised to correct the genital abnormality.

Currently, one of the most popular involves creating a new V****** out of a small portion of the large intestine or colon.

Since the swear filter ruins the link:

Sex Life Normal for Women with Rebuilt V******
Fri Sep 12, 5:49 PM ET Add Health - Reuters to My Yahoo!

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - An artificial V******, constructed with a piece of bowel, can lead to a normal sex life for women with an uncommon disorder in which the organ is missing, new research suggests.

Although this colon operation is state-of-the-art for Rokitansky syndrome, its effect on sexual function was unclear, note Dr. Daniel Radiant and associates in Lyon, France.

The new findings, which are published in the medical journal Fertility and Sterility, are based on a study of 16 Rokitansky patients who were treated with the colon operation.

Sexual function several months after the procedure was determined with a survey that included questions about desire, arousability, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and comfort. The patients' responses were compared with those of 131 normal women.

When all aspects of the survey were considered, patients with an artificial ****** scored only slightly lower than normal women. Moreover, for certain aspects, such as desire and orgasm, the patients actually scored higher than normal women.

Although most Rokitansky patients reported no pain during intercourse, two did report severe pain.

Having an artificial V****** also didn't mean less sex, the authors note. Seventy-two percent of patients reported having sex at least once weekly -- about the same percentage as in normal women.

The results suggest that for many Rokitansky patients, creation of an artificial V****** can permit normal or near normal sexual function, the researchers conclude.
