lol thats not the wifi antenna

Shortwave. Pick up everything from 1730khz - about 20000khz...at which point everything goes silent (solar cycle related).

Finding other geeks...yes. All over the world actually. Taiwan sounded like it was right next to me.

Mothership...not soon enough

EDIT: for scale....the antenna itself is about 15' off the ground. The beam itself is about 20ft long or so. Its not exactly small.

only noobs use dish network for ET talkings. Directv is the best way to go. That and I'm sure he didn't tune the radial on his helmet for the right frequency.
