Sooo many sedan's.

I'm supporting the Wagon Crew with a vote for 'mister hashimoto'!

Aspen White Bugeye's ftw! ... just started in this myself. 02 Aspen White Bugeye June 2010. Now for the fun part! Hopefully in 4 years I can have something along the lines of mister hashimoto's sweet bugeye wagon!

not that i dont think Paulie has one of the best bugeyes ive ever seen, but i thought once you won a Top Scoob, you werent able to enter again? I guess Ferg could chime in here.

is there a definition of what "top scoob" is or is it purely just a popularity contest or a facebook "Like" thing? I don't do car shows or these kinds of things but decided to enter into this because I love my bugeye

Ferg? care to elaborate a little?

I asked Ferg this very question, and here's his response;

Quote:
Paulie: Ferg, am I allowed to enter? I wasn't sure since I won the very first Top Scoob...

Let me know...

And even if I am allowed, do you think I should?

Ferg: Are you west of the Mississippi? For some reason I thought you were in the South East.

There's no reason why you couldn't enter.

Personally I'm cool with you doing so, it's been quite some time since 001 and if I ever created a rule restricting winners from reentering it would expire after some time...certainly by now.

Go for it!
Believe me, I'm not out to steal anyone's thunder. I just figured if it was for the best Bugeye in North America, I'd like to see how I'd fare against the newer builds. There are some incredible rides here for sure, and just to be considered in the same company is an honor

sounds good Paulie! i wasnt asking that because I thought you didnt deserve to enter, or shouldnt enter. It was merely just a question/situation i was curious about. Personally, for you to represent the west coast would be awesome

I didn't take it that way at all, so no worries

I was curious myself, so that's why I asked Ferg in the first place

The fact that this car still resonates with folks all these years later is what gives me the motivation to "upgrade" it a little when I return in January. I don't think I can ever get rid of this car, EVAR.

Hi Paul,

Car is looking good. I'd vote for you if I could.

(But I'll still beat you when you come back in the Spring)

Your Bro,
Brian

I believe you answered your own question! I think the variety of cars and owners who've won the top honors in this contest over the past two and half years is something the Subaru community can really be proud of. One of the things I wanted to create when I came up with Top Scoob was finding those cars and owners that had the potential to become iconic. Taken as a whole there's a tremendous amount of diversity in taste and style, approach and execution, but a strong common theme, commitment. There's no question that all the owners of a Top Scoob have poured an amazing amount of effort into their creations....anyway I'm rambling. What's the definition of a Top Scoob? That's what we're here to redefine with every round.
