Arrow My roommate is taking/stealing my mail... what do I do?

I know for a fact my roommate is stealing my mail... When I go to the mail box I always have something... but when my roommate goes to the mail box and gets everything I NEVER have mail. I had my parents send me some stuff via the postal service and I haven't received them. I told them to send me a letter a couple weeks ago... never got that.

What do I do? I know he is taking my mail. But how do I actually prove it without actually breaking into his room...?

Thanks,
-Nigel

Call the U.S. postal gestapo. That'll teach him to mess with mail!

Mail yourself some gay sex toys. If they don't disappear, he'll think you are gay and he'll move. Or hit on you. Win-Win

Have your parents send it priority mail, confirmation of delivery. (No signature needed).

Seriously. Especially if you've had any financial loss. Go to your local post office, ask to speak to a Postal Inspector or the Postmaster, explain the situation, and ask if they would be willing to do a small surveillance sting. Send a marked envelope (UV dye powder? Marked cash?) or however they do it, and have them bust his ass.

If you don't want to fux0r your roommate, this would be the other solution. Make sure you let everybody who might send you anything know your new address, in addition to the standard forwarding service.

Srsly.

The Post Office isn't going to want to bust your roommate. They'll laugh at you.

Confront the roommate.

Start stealing his mail!

Or at least get the mail first to see if you actually got some, then leave it in there and play dumb when he goes to get it. Then at least you'll know for sure.
