![]() ![]() This doesn't look as good as I thought it would in dark gray. Wheels look tiny and that wheel gap.

![]() Who doesn't love that gloss red paint under those textured black plastic sills? What a look...

![]() The wheel gaps look wide. Aside from that, I like the combination of that grey (which appears to be a non-metallic) with the cherry blossom accents, but I think it would be even better without the black. Really Subaru is not a long way off from making this car truly nice... More body color instead of black, a little less fender gap plus a "quieted down" rear bumper would result in something really nice IMO.

Except you were around when the burden of proof was posted real time. Not my fault if you don’t absorb everything you should. Also, you forgot your signature. |

![]() So your proof is KC should know this, because they were around. What are you a politician? I will skirt the question by saying it is your fault for not knowing already.

![]() There is a video of it on YouTube from the auto salon. It looks like these wheels are 18", I think that is too small for this model. 19" rims should be the minimum size for these cars... I don't even want to know what it looks like with 17" rims. 19" Rims and a lower ride height does fill in the gap nicely regardless of the shape. See the renders back on page 185 of what that looks like.

![]() The image is what it is and the WRX doesn't come with 19's. This is a WRX thread, so no point talking about what the car should or doesn't come with. That's how it looks (with money thrown at it no less), so that's what we talk about.
No sedan is going to look good when it swallows 18 inch wheels with a ton of wheel gap. In gray it really does just look like the current car. Stubby and chubby on stilts. WRB and white show off the unfortunate black plastic, but they also make the body look a lot longer and sleeker. Unfortunate trade offs. |

![]() ![]() That looks really good minus the wing and the red stripe. I am not sure why manufactures are pushing this red stripe trim. VW put in on the front of the facelifted GLI and it looks awful. Same with the Elantra N. It looks terrible. |

![]() The red stripe is there to distract your eye away from the ugly black plastic.

![]() The red strip is optional, the STI trim pieces will be offered in 3 colour options (full black, Red/black, full red)

![]() So they didn't have the courage to showcase this car in a colour which isn't the same colour as the 'textured' plastic fenders and 100% plastic prolapsed bumper....
All grey everathang. |

![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great design. Just the right amount of aggressiveness so it doesn't look like vanilla Golf without going overboard like the CTR. I love the cladding, it adds so much character to this car. It fits it perfectly. |

![]() the cladding is starting to look ok and might've looked better more rounded imo but the rear prolapse is just distasteful!!!
On the STi I will say those pink mirror covers are whacked af!! |

![]() Reuters - A 33% stake of Subaru was recently purchased by Newell Brands Inc. (NWL) owner of the "Rubbermaid" brand... Expect many new collaborative product announcements in 2022... the WRX, Outback and all Subaru models will be adopting new styling cues to reflect the corporate partnership... cost reductions through the use of environmentally friendly unpainted black molded plastic body parts sourced from "Rubbermaid" are expected to improve the company's bottom line...

In other news, Subaru puts red lines on their WRX show car and the guy who currently drives a GLI with red lines on it is not a fan AT ALL. ![]() |
