I'll try to get some video this weekend and post it. I didn't get any during the test and tune and even if I did have some from my first event, I'd be too embarrassed to share it.

Finally- after much messing with trying to get video processed.

It's not a good run, on my best run of the day the camera battery died.

A quick vid of the start by someone else.

In the vids, were you still on the year-old v710s? Car looks like it has some real potential, now drive the lines and use the engine.....

Why? It costs money, adds weight, takes time, and doesn't help performance.

Interesting autocross site in the videos, where is it? What sort of use does the site normally have?

Looks like a Kart track to me. BeaveRun in PA is very similar. If it IS BeaveRun....I'm gonna be upset, as it's a litle over 1hr from me.

I was on the new 275 Hoosie A6's. "Drive the line" is what I repeat to myself every time I'm at the start line. After thinking about it for a while I should have been shifting back to 2nd in a few corners.

It is a drivers training area. Normal use is training Semi-Truck drivers and police how to drive. Pretty nice place overall, but the course designs are fairly limited due to the road course type of layout.

Not BeaveRun, I live in Minnesota southeast of St. Paul. Thus the "They eat fish soaked in lye" comment. Lutefisk is Cod, soaked in lye, then soaked in fresh water, then cooked and it's ready to eat. Minnesotans eat a lot of it, and yes- it's as gross as it sounds.

St Cloud HP test center? If so, "DON'T CUT" should be a mantra as you drive. Fall off the inside shoulder and you are into 1-2 foot deep ruts.

Dakota County Technical College. No one runs at St. Cloud anymore as there were a few incidents there with a few different clubs.

Neal Tovsen. I was glad to finally give the car a driver that was worthy of it. He finished 19th in PAX, which is pretty good considering the competition that was present. With Neal coming in behind Mr. Aro in the CSP miata on RAW time tells me the car still needs a little work, but the driver (me) needs a lot more work than the car.

It was a great event in Milwaukee. Had a few problems towards the end of the day with what appears to be a sticking relay, or a dying fuel pump, or possibly a crankshaft position sensor that is going bad, or maybe something else. Troubleshooting this week with a small local event next weekend to finish figuring it out.

Even though I'm not a good driver, this car is a blast to drive.

Mid-Div's were awesome. I ended up taking the last trophy spot in XP (3rd out of 8) behind a S2000 and a RX7. I needed to go much faster on Saturday, and only a few tenths faster on Sunday to catch them. I'm pretty sure the car could have done it, but my driving needs work. To make up for my lousy driving I have a few ideas in mind for this winter.

Meeting a few of you in person was nice after getting advice and help with my build problems. Hope to see you guys again soon.

I won't be at Nat's this year, but next year am planning on making it to Cen-Div's in Milwaukee and Mid-Div's in Lincoln as well as Nat's. Hopefully with more skill behind the wheel.

If you find any pictures of the event please post a link.
