This would be great to compare the G-Series with a GTX before plot to go with it patience
Very true, I am thinking of maybe getting one for my kit

The 3576 is a ~650whp turbo, the G25-660 is ~550whp. So quite different. In terms of rotational inertia, the g25-660 is magnitudes lower which shows up in on/off throttle and spool-up. So the G25 will have better driveabilty, but the 3576 will ultimately make a lot more power. There are rumors a G30 will be shown at SEMA and/or PRI this year...

Yeah true, but look at the size of the turbo you are comparing. I think that the g25 is a pretty promising turbo. if it holds the g30 when it comes out is going to be a monster

I've been looking at putting a gtx3071 on my ez30 for a while. It'd be interesting to compare the spool.

So would the 2867 or 2871 work on your kit and if so how would it spool on a 2.0?

I couldn't say as I have no first hand experience with the anything smaller than the EJ25. I would recommend using some of the calculators out there to find the best turbo size to match your application and goals. Garrett has Boost Advisor and I think Borg has one called Matchbot?

Yes. Tial 28-35R turbine housings all share the same in/out dimensions so you should be good there.

if you are talking 205 I think the 2867 should be adequate. if 207 i would step up to a 3067. but it all depends on where you want the power range

Well right now I'm on the 165,xxx mile stock 205. I'm wanting to get the 6 speed in and turbo setup in place and then build a 207 with avcs.

I want to try my best to do everything once so I would like to have a turbo that will work for both but be ideal for the 207 with quick spool and hold power to at least 7,500.

If it's too much lag on the 205 I can deal with that I just feel like the new gen 2 2867 seems like a great turbo for my goals and preferences.

The car is gonna be a daily with 500+ miles a week thru the mtns. of Western NC though . I may be wishful thinking but that's the goal.

Quck spool huh? The 207 doesnt make its powet til 4000 so why try to make power below that? If you are looking for quick spool, get a 257 dones even mess withthe 205 0 7

This is where many make a critical mistake of building for low end and high end. It will give you lackluster results for both What you want to do is focus on a rev range where you're going to want/use the power most often and work on building efficiency for that rev range.

If your application's ideal rev limit is 7,500 RPMs then plan on the meat of your power being from 5,000-7,500. If you want low end, then I would lower your expectation for any power after 6,500 RPMs. You are looking at some small turbos that are going to be best suited for response, not high RPM power. If you want to make power that high up in the rev range I would consider stepping up the turbo size... which again, brings increased lag.

Unless you have an N/A engine like mine, which you just run like 7psi on for the entire rev range >_>

Nice I did see that on ATP's website and was thinking that would be a good option. I have a question,I know its longer but how much longer is the turbine housing?

Is the purpose of this line to allow a better turbine housing and still have IWG? Haven't found much info on them.

The g series is a whole new turbo so its saposed to give the spool of a little turbo and the power of a big one on thee top end

We're shooting for 2 months.

Waiting to see what data we get back from this first.

The G-series is a new turbo. Check out the turbine and compressor maps for flow specs and comparative data. In short, the G-Series are a smaller turbo with improved flow capabilities. So at the same peak power numbers it will respond better. Or, at the same response RPM, it will make more power.

About an inch longer with the IWG.
