WRC suspension geometry
Ok, I've searched and searched on this with no results. I've scoured websites and googled for days with nothing, so I pose my question:
We all know the Prodrive WRC car has it's own special custom suspension. What are the suspension/driveline modification to accomodate the wider track that the WRC car has? I realize no one has the exact answers but I'm shocked that this hasn't even been pondered on. My end result is that I'd like fit my car up with a functional widebody kit and have the wider track to go with it. From what I can gather, this means custom A-arms, modified steering rack, axels, suspension linkage, etc. Imagine what a track 4" wider (2 on each side) would mean for the handling? So my question is, how do I do this? Are there any resources that anyone knows about? Is it just going to be a "design your own suspension system" job? Any help is appreciated.

Actually yes you can purchase all the needed pieces for a widebody conversion but it is a complete bodyshell thing. Now dampers are sachs, and the strut towers are all modified to give a different suspension geometry. you would not recognize most of the pieces in the rear end since it is changed quite a bit as well. When you go wider you are altering the entir geometry of the suspension and it may have a lot of different effects on the car. you ahve a lot of options from tube A-arms to billet just depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Drop me an email so we can discuss your ideas more.
