Default Fender flares with 18x8 on 02 wagon?

Hey guys, so I have a 2002 wrx wagon with sedan front fenders and bumper , I recently bought some konig runlites 18x8 45 offset and some tires for them sized 225/45/18 if I remember 100%, but when I put them on I experienced rubbing pretty bad (I was expecting some rubbing but not every turn , bump , etc. I'm looking into fender flares and I actually really want to do it cus I like the look anyway , and I already bought these wheels and tires and want to put them on . I found some RS fender flares made specifically for my car that extend my fender out 1.5 inches . It says the recommended wheel set up is 18x9.5 +15mm with 265/35/18 tires, I have 18x8 with +45 and 225/45/18. I was wondering would I still have any rubbing issues if I trimmed my fenders and installed these flares ? I used a calculator online and it told me from my stock wheels to my new wheels from difference in size , the outside edge of the new wheels are 1.06 inches closer to the inside of the fender , which makes sense because they're just now barely sticking out . Also if I can run these flares and wheels with no rubbing , how wide of a spacer can I run also without rubbing ? Adding some pics to help clear things up, thanks guys
