![]() I'm not into it, I wasn't into the current/previous gen either... honestly 7th gen I think was the last one I personally thought was attractive, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th & 7th I've liked; everything else has been "meh" to me from a styling standpoint, with the 10th being a "woah what the heck?". However, like Oichan, I'm not buying one, and my wife has blinders on for Toyota so she wouldn't consider one either.

![]() Yeah the current Japanese car to buy are Toyota/Lexus and Subaru's imho. Mazda is also very close, just needs a luxury line..

![]() ![]() I don't like that front at all. Nothing I'm seeing makes me doubt Honda's ability to release crappy odd generation Civics. |

I agree that the VA is starting to show its age and a good time to wait for the next gen if one is not in a rush. I think the new BRZ is promising, although I would not buy one if that was my only car or my only hobby car. |

So I like this new one a lot, looks great to me. Looking like a VW or Audi is a good thing for me. It also looks like a hatch, so I suspect the hatch and sedan will look very similar. I hope the hatch is shorter, but not sure it will be looking at the sedan. |

![]() I looks fine. I don't understand the complaints. No fake vents this time. No weird accentuated lines along panel gaps. The long low hood with upright windshield is why the classic Civics always looked great, and the egg-shaped (cab forward) 8th & 9th Gens were an aberration. I hope they make the next Type-R extremely understated like the old ones.

![]() As a person that hated the current design for its jarring, juvenile styling I can't be overly critical of this as it's considerably more mature and clean. Only minor gripes are as already been said that the rear end looks just like a Jetta and there's something about the front end that bothers me. The front bumper cover over the grille looks a little droopy. As for the interior I'm a little surprised how dated and generic it looks as a year before release it's already a generation behind with their mounting of the infotainment system ipad-like on top of the dash. Everyone else is moving away from that direction and moving the display into the dash to the side of the instrument cluster where it's more within reach of the driver.

![]() I also like the current front clip on the Accord. I like the current front clip on the Camry too. We can like things. Gorgeous is a big grown up word, and I'm not qualified to use it. Especially in a car forum.
Applied to the Civic, I think the proportions of the design doesn't work as good as it does on the Accord. Doesn't make it bad or terrible, it's just more meh comparatively. I don't mind the current Civic front end though, and it works pretty good on the dog humping URUS looking blob of a car. |

![]() I love this new design and don't like the Accord. I think it's pointless to discuss subjective styling.

![]() I think the Type R will look better with this starting point. Whether a Honda or Acura.

![]() I think it's fine. Nothing profound, but certainly not ugly by any means. I like it more than the current one, but I still like the Accord more.

![]() Yeah, those Legacy sedans are confusing cars.. are they for old geezers on a budget that graduated from Accords and Camry's?
I would never buy such car (Accord/Camry/Legacy/Maxima/Altima/Malibu, etc) |

![]() There for the tiny subset of people who want a largish sedan and value having AWD over having the best car available at that price.
