Rear diff bushings/ lockdown systems opinions?
I am going to stiffen up rear diff a bit by installing on of above:
1. Perrin Rear Differential / Subframe Lockdown System 2. Kartboy Rear Diff / Cross-Member Bushings Tom @ Kartboy, why can't I find it on Your website I'd rather to buy it from You than others... how big difference will be if I install also Kartboy WRX Subframe Rear Diff Support Lock 3. Turn In Concepts Rear Diff Bushings Any opinions? What would be better option for daily driver? Turn in concepts seems to be stiffest option, since it is whole thing, not only "rings" Perrin have also bolts...

Not really any more noise on cruise or accell, however, it'll "bark" more on the overrun.

Yeah, the rear diff will chatter a bit when it's loaded the "wrong" way when you let off the gas. To me, it kind of sounds like barking. It does it even stock, but with all the bushings, you can just hear it do it.

So, I have a couple of questions.
Is this kit beneficial to performance or is it totally un-necessary? Do the pros out weigh the cons? |
